Co-Founder and Coach

Originally from the UK, Jamie has played and coached in England, Spain, Australia. Holland, the USA and New Zealand. As a player, Jamie achieved both team and individual success and was a frequent recipient of the Golden Boot. His clubs have included Leyton Orient in the UK, Torrevieja in Spain and Enfield City, here in Adelaide.

Jamie naturally progressed into coaching and frequently travelled to Holland, as a coach for Total Football. After making the move to New Zealand in 2012, his first coaching position was at Napier Marist in 2014 where he was Head coach for six seasons,while at the club he became director of football and head of the junior club and was instrumental in starting the clubs first ever football development academy. 

Since becoming an OFC/NZF A license holder, he has been involved at Hawkes Bay United as the Youth Team Head Coach and First Team Assistant Coach. Many of the players Jamie helped nurture and develop in Hawkes Bay have gone on to play at the highest level in New Zealand, as well as representing their country.

After 7 years in Hawkes Bay NZ, Jamie and his family made the move to Wellington where he became Assistant Coach for Team Wellington, whilst also taking on the role of Junior Development Manager and Technical Director of the Talent Development Programme for Miramar Rangers.

In 2020, Jamie returned to Adelaide in the position of Head Coach of the Senior Women's at Adelaide City, where he soon met Nic.

Jamie's passion for the game and proven talent development, has led to becoming a Co-Founder of SA Soccer Academy.

Co-Founder and Coach

Originally from the UK, Nic played for Vickers in the North West of England, before moving to Australia where he played for top amateur clubs winning titles and progressed on to the State league, where he continued to find success.

Along his journey he studied in Sports Remedial Therapy and became trainer for both the Adelaide Rams NRL and West Adelaide Sharks NS. Whilst playing and training, he studied soccer and sports psychology methodologies. 

While continuing to play, he coached at Metro Stars Soccer Club. Throughout his playing career, he won 4 gold medals at the Australasian ES games. His coaching career continued with the South Australian ES women's team, playing overseas and in Australia winning medals as a coach and player.

Nic has attained his junior and senior certificates in coaching and continues his studies with FSA following FFA Guidelines.

His passion, experience and drive have led to becoming the Co-Founder of SA Soccer Academy.
